In his long and varied career Howard has performed for HM The Queen of England; played his music on BBC TVs Blue Peter; had choral compositions performed at The Queen Elizabeth Hall; worked as a Dance Accompanist at Laban, Pineapple, Rambert, English National Ballet; danced on German TV with Gloria Gaynor; appeared as a crazy guitar-playing guard in an Ed Wright comedy series; slapped his cheeks and drummed on his thighs on BBC Radio 3 and 4; toured theatres and concert halls throughout Europe; and had his music played and broadcast all over the world.
He plays solo Spanish guitar, in a Duo, and as a member of various dynamic and exciting groups:
Men of the Hour - a flexible line-up featuring original music by Howard Haigh, mixing Jazz, Latino, and music of the moment Baksheesh - Stonking groove-based East European-style Gipsy Band; Moonlight Gazette Folksy mix featuring guitar and mandolin. CD recorded and ready for release Haigh and Bee – Duo with Rob Bee (sax and piano) Everything from Free Improvisation to Leonard Cohen.
Howard is a member of London-based Leibniz-Lab Arts Collective and currently working on an Opera “The Last Adventure”
